PROJECT OVERVIEW
Buzzcut Studio is a videography company built on the values of simplicity, creativity, and professionalism. The new brand identity draws inspiration from the term “buzzcut” — a symbol of a clean slate and limitless potential. This concept mirrors the studio’s mission to strip away unnecessary complexity and deliver streamlined, high-quality video and photography content.
The resulting identity embraces a minimalistic and modern design approach, focused on clarity and precision. Every element — from typography to layout — reinforces Buzzcut’s commitment to cutting through noise and maintaining a clean, confident visual presence.
MY ROLE
I led the brand identity design for Buzzcut Studio, from concept development through to rollout across digital and print. My work included:
→ Designing a logo system that conveys modernity, precision, and confidence
→ Selecting and refining a pixelated, modular typeface to reflect the technical side of videography and photography
→ Developing a minimal, grid-based visual system that communicates clarity and focus
→ Designing the website to translate the brand’s simplicity and professionalism into an intuitive digital experience
→ Creating print collateral, including business cards and physical invoices, ensuring brand consistency across tangible touchpoints
→ Preparing final brand assets and guidelines for consistent application across all media
The final identity captures Buzzcut’s core philosophy — a bold yet refined aesthetic that embodies focus, creativity, and craftsmanship in every frame.
